Public and On-Demand Transportation Programs

For students, faculty, and staff with an active RISD ID card, your card functions as a pass for the RIPTA bus system. This free benefit lets you ride to and from campus from anywhere on RIPTA’s route map.

RISD partners with Zipcar and surrounding universities to provide access to around 20 cars on or near campus. Cars are available on-demand 24/7 and can be reserved by the hour or day.
